April arrives in three days! Can’t believe it. Where did the month go? In the past week I've seen an eagle (in an unexpected place), and a coyote pup. Peeking out from the side of the road. The cutest, cutest thing. I am ready for April showers, warming soil, and planting. When I lived in Sicily I loved seeing bright flowers, cacti, succulents, everywhere in the mountains or walking to the ocean. Flowers we overpay for here. I've been trying to stay active when home. This desk is a magnet most times and I hardly move from it throughout the day. Still have to rearrange my board. I think I will pluck things from it while I type this out. (Now I have already removed the bulk of things and like seeing so much negative space.) Typed out a micro I'd scribbled out the other day. 188 words. It definitely could be tightened up. It's about a loss experienced some time ago. An emptiness that bares its face every now and then and I guess I wanted to draw it out. Give it form. Give it a place. Maybe it will fade from memory? Picked up Gertrude of Stony Island and realized that the tight was tight as a bite. It doesn't seem like I'd ever read it! So many books, too little time. Question: What are you reading now? What would you like to read next? What are you writing?

Such pretty flowers! April and May are my most favorite months in NJ. Then it gets hellish hot. I look forward to spending this summer with my parents in Montreal, though. Your micro sounds awesome. You'll be sending it out soon?
I've been rather sick lately, so my latest posts will be on the short side. I do want to continue reading some books I bought recently. I look forward to reading "Stories Wrestling Can Tell" by Michael Chin.
Have a lovely day!
