Well, lucky for us, the big snowstorm decided to thumb its nose up at us and head for finer towns. It is cold though. Cold and blustery, and ever grey and so oppressive. I made a point to get out as early as possible just in case. Run errands, go thrifting. I did pick up a cool, vintage Penguin winter coat that looks like something my grandpa would have worn for $8.99. I forgot to take a photo before dropping it off at the cleaners but I will post a looks like this photo below.
Came home and made a pot of smothered cabbage and then bake a Banana Olive Oil Cake for the restaurant. I am going to do a bit of editing then try my hand at Gocciole Cookies.
I still need to compile a short list of who I want to submit to and make it a living, breathing, goal rather than just another slip of paper to disappear behind another slip of paper!
Man, the way the day slips away in greyness. It really is startling and this *sun-like bulb* I have hanging above my desk is failing. I will have to find my light someplace else today.
